Jaden Smith using his fame to save the planet
Jaden Smith wants to fix the world’s biggest problems, including poverty and environmental issues.
Jaden Smith has been covertly using his fame to save the planet from global warming.
The 18-year-old actor, who is the son of Hollywood superstar Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith, is used to media attention thanks to his famous folks. Far from getting annoyed with the privacy intrusion, Jaden is using it to his own advantage and has been ensuring he is photographed alongside environmentally friendly technology.
"If I’m just chilling with my friends in Calabasas and there’s paparazzi around, I’m not going to deliberately let paparazzi take pictures of me, I will avoid them at all cost,” he told Britain’s GQ magazine.
“But if I know that I have a Tesla X (electric sports car) sitting outside, I want people to see that because I want people to know that driving zero (carbon dioxide) emissions (vehicles) is the future."
Jaden went on to explain that encouraging people to look after the environment is not the limit of his ambition; he also wants to end poverty.
“I’m really working towards just fixing the whole planet Earth, I really just want to create a utopia on this planet,” he stated.
“I really want to make it so that people don’t have to die to pay bills and just work to survive. So that they can work to actually live and do the things that they love to do.”
He adds that his main reason for courting fame is to promote his beliefs, saying, “If I have no message then there’s no reason for me to be quote-unquote famous."
