Co Down actor Jamie Dornan will be among the long list of famous faces to take to the pitch this weekend in the Game 4 Grenfell charity football match.

The Holywood man will play alongside footballers David Seaman, Jamie Redknapp, Paul Merson and Peter Crouch to help raise money for those affected by the Grenfell Tower blaze in London.

Other names included in the line up are Mo Farah, Olly Murs, Tinie Tempah, Jarvis Cocker, Marcus Mumford, James Bay, and Damian Lewis, plus many more.

The charity game has been organised by Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes, Director of Football Les Ferdinand and Columbia Records' Ferdy Unger-Hamilton following the devastating fire in June which claimed at least 80 lives.

The match will take place on Saturday, September 2 at the home of Queens Park Rangers on Loftus Road in west London.

Kick off is at 3pm and the game will be broadcast live on Sky 1 and Freeview channel Pick.

Jamie Dornan will be playing as part of Team Alan Shearer, who will face-off against Team Les Ferdinand.

The 50 Shades of Grey actor was recently spotted in Donegal where he was taking part in a father and son golfing tournament at Portsalon Golf Club with his dad Jim.

Jamie, Martin Blaney, Club Captain and Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup winning captain Paul McGinley.

After his round of golf Jamie visited the Harbour Bar in nearby Downings, much to the delight of punters there.

Claire Curran says she nipped in for a quick pint on Saturday evening and was shocked to see Jamie and his friends at the bar drinking pints.

“He was really lovely,” she said. “He said he was on a golfing weekend with his friends and just having 'the craic'. He said he just loves Donegal and he absolutely had no bother posing for photographs with staff and customers.”
