Jeremy McConnell reveals Stephanie Davis is pregnant
The two got into a physical altercation on Sunday which resulted in Stephanie being arrested.
Jeremy McConnell has confirmed Stephanie Davis is pregnant, just days after the former Hollyoaks actress was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Former Celebrity Big Brother stars Jeremy and Stephanie's toxic relationship went to new levels on Sunday (02Jul17) when an argument which started in a North London pub left Jeremy black and blue.
The Dublin-born model was pictured with a bruised and swollen face as he flew back to Ireland, and Stephanie was later seen with scratches on her face as she left the police station.
She was also cradling what looked like a baby bump, and now Jeremy, who already has five-month-old son Caben-Albi with the actress, has confirmed she's expecting again.
"She just told me that she was pregnant," he told MailOnline. "I was pretty shocked as it wasn't planned, but to be honest I was excited. She told me that she was going to have a scan at the hospital later that afternoon. The pregnancy was not planned and given our history together took me by surprise. I was pleased, but still in a bit of a shock.
"Steph then looked at my phone and saw that I was following some other woman. She just went mental at me and kicked off," he said of how the violent bust-up on Sunday started.
"She was going mental I had not even met this woman but was just following her. She would not listen and stormed off to go to the pub and refused to go to the scan."
The pair had been staying in Enfield while 24-year-old Stephanie filmed Big Brother's Bit On The Side. Jeremy followed his girlfriend to the pub and was surprised when she began drinking.
"I had two or three and so did Steph which I thought was off as she was pregnant. She was also smoking and I told her a pregnant woman should not drink and smoke," the 27-year-old said. "She told me, 'It was her life and she could do as she wanted.'
"When she came back to the hotel room she just flew at me. She was screaming and shouting and being abusive. She was jumping on the bed and the wooden post snapped off. She picked it up and hit me across the face. It knocked me down, and I think I passed out for a bit because when I came round the police were already in the room."
He added that other guests must have called the police after they heard the commotion and promises he didn't lay a finger on the mother-to-be.
"Any marks that she has on her are self-inflicted. I did not lay a finger on her," he stated.
Stephanie is yet to speak out about the pregnancy or drunken fight, but Jeremy claims there's "no going back" for him now.
