Johansson on exhausting motherhood
Scarlett Johansson has opened up about her experiences of motherhood so far, saying it is "exhausting but wonderful".
The Captain America star gave birth to daughter Rose at the beginning of September, and has spoken to Gala magazine about how things have been going with her first born.
She said: "It's exhausting in the most wonderful way. I never thought how much sleeping through the night would mean to me.
"I still lack experience. Right now I'm just trying to manage. You have to first, how should I put it, learn the ropes."
Scarlett added of her daughter: "She smells sweet, totally. I can't quite describe it, but it really makes you euphoric."
The actress recently married her French partner Romain Dauriac in secret and she was previously wed to Ryan Reynolds for three years until 2010.
She said: "I've come to the conclusion for myself that a relationship only functions if you communicate well with your partner. Listen to yourself and what you want, and listen to your partner.
"This is one thing I've learned over the years. And I've gotten better at it. Love can be difficult, but it's absolutely worth the effort."
Granite County Clerk of Court Carol Bohrnsen has confirmed Scar-Jo and Romain tied the knot in the small, scenic town of Philipsburg, in western Montana.
She said the couple went to the Granite County Courthouse themselves to get a licence. The document, later filed with the county, shows the wedding took place on October 1.
The clerk described the actress as having a "very sweet personality".
