Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and Brad Pitt cooked their own Thanksgiving turkey - from scratch.
The 36-year-old actress told US chat show host Anderson Cooper that it was the first time the superstar couple - who are parents to six children - had ever cooked their own Thanksgiving dinner.
"Brad and I decided we were actually going to make the turkey and we were very successful and very proud of ourselves," Angelina said.
Despite her hectic schedule, the first-time director of In The Land Of Blood And Honey still finds time to eat together as a family.
"We actually have family dinner every night. We make a point of it. It's crazy," Angelina explained.
"There's a good five minutes where everybody is quiet and sitting together and then it starts to break off."
Despite being no stranger to a family meal, the Oscar winner confessed that cooking for Thanksgiving was still more daunting than the average weekday dinner.
"This was just the two of us with the kids watching, trying to pretend we knew exactly what we were doing," she joked.
