Josh Gad has publicly thanked Kristen Bell for looking after his family when they were unable to evacuate the state of Florida during Hurricane Irma.
The actress' Frozen co-star took to Instagram to express his gratitude that she had come to the rescue of his parents, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew.
Josh's family were unable to leave the state and had been having trouble finding a place to stay when Kristen booked them a room in her hotel in Orlando.
The 36-year-old actor took to Instagram and posted a picture of Kristen with his parents and called the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress an angel for helping them keep safe as the hurricane approached.
"So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma. When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law, and niece, and nephew," the 36-year-old actor explained.
"They don't make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above."
The 37-year-old actress is currently in Orlando filming her new movie Like Father and said the film crew "didn't have the option to leave."
"Just doing our best and trying to stay positive but cautious, and trying to help those who need help prepping," she wrote on Instagram.
"Every person i passed today was assisting someone else - #neighborshelpingneighbors - it was beautiful to see.
"Sad that a hurricane has to bring out the best in everyone - but happy that the community will be holding hands through this."
The actress also thanked the staff at Walt Disney World for staying positive as the storm approached and for making everyone feel as safe as they could.
