Kimye Vogue cover a sales success
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's controversial Vogue cover has been a sales hit despite criticism over the decision to feature the pair in the fashion magazine.
The New York Post reported that the issue is on track to sell 300,000 to 400,000 copies, matching previous top-selling covers featuring Beyonce and US First Lady Michelle Obama.
Beyonce's cover for the high-end fashion magazine last year sold around 355,000 copies, while Obama's sold just under 300,000.
The cover has attracted plenty of attention - it's been parodied by Hollywood stars James Franco and Seth Rogen while even Kermit and Miss Piggy did their own spoof version.
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar made clear she was not a fan, tweeting: "Well... I guess I'm cancelling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???"
When supermodel Naomi Campbell was asked about the issue, she appeared not to give it her endorsement, bursting into giggles and initially refusing to answer.
Asked why she didn't want to comment, she replied: "Because I'm a fashion model and I've been working for 28 years, and when you get a Vogue cover, it's a build in your career.
"It's a stepping-stone to achieve that. And I'm a fashion model, what more can I say?"
