Kravitz not keen on 'it' girl tag
Zoe Kravitz may have famous parents, but she has no plans to cash in on their name.
The 22-year-old actress-singer-model, daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, revealed she's not interested in fame for the sake of it.
"All that 'it girl' s*** makes me kind of uncomfortable. I'm only at the beginning of my career, but I feel successful in that I haven't sold out in any way, shape or form," she told ASOS magazine.
"I'm in a very lucky position, because I've been around [fame] so long, I don't feel like I have to chase it. I feel good about the choices I've made, and I don't feel like I've let go of any of my values. Fame has become this obsession for people, which kind of creeps me out."
Zoe, who has appeared in The Brave One, No Reservations and X-Men: First Class, is dating her X-Men co-star Michael Fassbender, and can count Jay-Z and Jennifer Lawrence as friends.
Yet she insisted she is nonplussed by them, adding: "I don't really care about any of that though.
"He's such a cool guy that sometimes I wish he wasn't Jay-Z so we could hang out all day long and walk around and talk because I love him. And Jen was my godsend on X-Men. I love her."
Zoe, whose parents divorced when she was five, recalled her "pretty normal" childhood.
"My dad was brought up very old-school, very strict... I had chores, I had an allowance," she revealed.
