Lea: I didn't have face for fame

Lea Michele was once told she wasn't "pretty enough for fame", and was advised to get a nose job.

However, the Glee star defied her critics and found success in the hit TV show, alongside co-stars Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and Dianna Agron.

"How many managers told me, 'Get a nose job. You're not pretty enough'? But I proved them wrong," she told US Harper's Bazaar.

The 24-year-old, who plays Rachel in the award-winning show, is eyeing up her next steps.

"I don't stop," she said of her blossoming career.

"It's my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway... I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning."
