Linkin Park to release Carpool Karaoke episode featuring Chester Bennington
Linkin Park's episode of Carpool Karaoke, which was filmed before the death of lead singer Chester Bennington, will be released next week.
The band recorded the feature earlier this year as part of the full length series from James Corden's The Late Late Show segment.
Following Bennington's tragic death, Corden said the decision on whether or not the episode will air would be up to the musician's family.
He said: "We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled. We consider it not our decision to make.
"We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it. It's a tragedy.”
Linkin Park have now announced it will be broadcast Thursday, October 12 on Apple TV and and be streamed for free on Facebook.
During the episode actor Ken Jeong also appears alongside the band.
In July, Bennington was found dead in his home in Los Angeles. He was aged 41.
