Lovato 'inspired' by rehab visit
Demi Lovato has returned to rehab - this time, as a speaker.
The 19-year-old actress paid a visit to Timberline Knolls, the Illinois treatment centre she attended a year ago to deal with personal issues.
"Wow what an inspiring day... Many tears were shed and many memories were brought back at Timberline Knolls today," she wrote in a series of messages on Twitter.
"Today I went back to the treatment centre I went to last year, to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons... Was so honoured. To be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful.... You are worthy of it," she continued.
Demi, who performed this weekend at Chicago's Rosemont Theatre, added: "Please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse."
The actress and singer dropped out of supporting the Jonas Brothers tour in October 2010 to enter the centre, which she left in late January 2011.
She later admitted to Good Morning America that she suffered from bulimia, self-injury and depression, but added she also had a nervous breakdown and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder during her treatment.
