Love Island's Montana develops attraction to newly-single Sam

Montana Brown admitted she fancies newly-single Sam Gowland on Thursday night's (15Jun17) episode of Love Island.

The cheeky chappy was left single after being dumped by Olivia Attwood for new boy Chris Hughes. Montana was also left floundering after her former partner Marcel Somerville locked lips with new arrival Gabby Allen, so it seemed only natural that a potential pairing was in the air.

Sam made the first move, approaching Montana to talk to her about the possibility of coupling up in the next recoupling ceremony.

"On a serious note though we always got on well anyway and you fancy us don’t you so that helps, are you going to admit it yet?" he said. "Personally out of anyone in here who I can see it going further than just friendship with, it’s you."

Not convinced at that point, Montana answered: "Honestly if it had been three days ago, I would have been like ‘No, never, never.'"

But refusing to be rejected, Sam retorted: "Three days ago it would have been friendship, just mates obviously we’ve spent more time together, you’ve been putting it right on us. Flirting all day every day. But 100 per cent I see it potentially going further..."

In the Beach Hut later in the evening, Montana opened up about her growing feelings towards Sam, explaining: "I find Sam attractive. He’s got amazing eyes, he’s got a great set of gnashers, everything I look for but he’s covered in tattoos so this is something that I’m going to have to adjust to."

And during a conversation with Amber Davies after her Beach Hut confessional, Montana blushed as she smiled: "That escalated so quickly… I don’t even know where that came from, that is so not how I wanted it to go… I’ve just gone along with it… I actually fancy him now.

"It’s different vibes like two days ago I would have been like, no literally just mates because we literally were just friends. Now it’s more like, ‘I am starting to find you attractive’ sort of thing. But I’m not ‘Oh I want to rip your clothes off’ sort of thing, not yet.”
