Madness in pilgrimage to Van Morrison's Cyprus Avenue
It was a moment of Madness - and fans at Belsonic couldn't get enough of the band as they belted out their huge catalogue of hits at the Titanic Quarter.
But as well as the gig, the band from Camden Town in north London had a special pilgrimage to make while in Belfast at the weekend.
Bassist Mark 'Bedders' Bedford revealed after the concert that he had made the journey to Cyprus Avenue, the east Belfast street Van Morrison immortalised in his masterpiece Astral Weeks.
Posting photos of the street sign and nearby famous trees on Twitter, he added: "Was beautiful - such a peaceful place."
