Man bailed over Tittensor attack
A man suspected of assaulting Shameless star Elliott Tittensor on the steps of a court has been released on bail.
The 46-year-old was questioned by officers after being hauled to the ground outside Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.
Eyewitnesses said he punched Tittensor in the stomach as he left court after admitting driving his BMW without insurance.
The 20-year-old actor, who plays Carl Gallagher in the Channel 4 show, was unhurt but shocked by the incident.
He appeared in the dock after a crash outside a takeaway in Kentish Town, north London, which left 18-year-old Oliver Flint with permanent eye injuries.
Tittensor, who attended court with his girlfriend, Skins actress Kaya Scodelario, was ordered to pay a £750 fine and was given six penalty points on his licence.
A Metropolitan Police said the man was questioned on suspicion of affray and released on bail until late November.
