
Martin Clunes still worries that the work will dry up despite his huge success.
The Doc Martin star is fronting a documentary Martin Clunes: The Lemurs Of Madagascar, will be flying to Nairobi to rehabilitate a lion cub for a TV show and is also about to embark on a documentary on working horses.
But he said earning a living was "still a constant worry".
"I always worry that it'll all dry up and I won't be able to pay for anything. But I think anybody who's self-employed never loses that," the actor said.
The star went to Madagascar to shine a spotlight on the island's lemurs.
"It is really a magical place. As I say in the film, I had no idea how little I knew about it until I got there... I'd really love to go back - but maybe without a TV crew," he said.
