McFly star Harry Judd's wife pregnant with 'little miracle' baby

Izzy has called their baby "a little miracle" after they had problems conceiving the first time around.

McFly star Harry Judd is set to become a father for the second time.

The 31-year-old drummer and his wife, violinist Izzy, broke the news to fans on Instagram on Monday (03Apr17), revealing they are expecting a sibling for their 14-month-old daughter Lola.

Izzy admitted the pregnancy came as a pleasant surprise after the couple struggled to conceive naturally the first time around, prompting them to turn to in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment.

Alongside a photo of little Lola touching her growing belly, Izzy wrote, "Harry, Lola and I are so happy to share our news. After having IVF to conceive Lola people used to say to me you'll probably fall pregnant naturally next time."

"I wondered how it would ever be that simple after all the difficulties we have previously faced," she continued. "I never believed we would be lucky enough, but whilst writing Dare to Dream (her book about their fertility struggles) this little miracle happened. I want to give others hope that amazing things can happen."

The couple previously revealed Izzy suffered a devastating miscarriage in 2014.

"You feel like you are never going to be the ones who get to say, 'We are having a baby'. That is why we feel so blessed now..." he told Britain's Hello! magazine. "In an ideal world when you're ready to start a family you hope you will conceive in the first few months of trying. We were like, 'No, no we won't need IVF, it won't be us'. IVF was, like, something you didn't talk about. We thought it would be fine."

Izzy added, "Every baby is a miracle but we do feel so very lucky. I never wanted to stop believing that we would have a family. But you do feel like someone has pressed pause on your life and you can't go anywhere."
