More Arrested Development to come?

Michael Cera, Jason Bateman and their Arrested Development co-stars could be back for more episodes, the show's executive producer Brian Grazer has revealed.

Brian, who is also the co-chairman of the production company Imagine Entertainment, said Netflix is in talks to stream another series of the cult comedy, reported

"We are in conversations with them to do another season. Netflix are interested in doing that. Mitch (Hurwitz, creator) is ready to do that and some of the actors, so we're very excited," he told Bloomberg Television at the Allen and Co conference in Sun Valley, Idaho.

The US sitcom, which first aired on TV in 2003, returned for a fourth season in May after being cancelled in 2006. Each episode focused on different characters and featured cameos from stars such as Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Isla Fisher and John Krasinski.

"We were really excited that it came back and people were able to watch it all at once. It enabled you to watch all 15 episodes and download them all at once," Brian continued.

"They played great. People liked them. In this way, you could get the greatest actors to work on a TV series they wouldn't ordinarily be able to do."

Michael, who plays George Michael Bluth, has said that there's a future for Arrested Development.

"I think the show scored some 'cool points' for dying before its time. But there are still a lot more places for it to go," he said.
