MTV's Becca Dudley snapped up to host The X Factor's digital spin-off
Becca Dudley is "super gassed" about being snapped up by The X Factor.
Presenter Becca Dudley has been snapped up by ITV to host The X Factor's new digital spin-off Just Eat's Xtra Bites.
The 26-year-old will front the series, which has replaced The Xtra Factor, while also acting as the face of the show on all its social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
Commenting on her new gig, Becca told Digital Spy: "I'm so excited to be joining The X Factor this year and I can't wait to get stuck in! I've had the pleasure of interviewing and meeting contestants from previous series so I'm looking forward to getting to know and working with the class of 2017. I'm super gassed."
Becca is most well known for her work with MTV. She has worked for the network on several shows over the past five years, fronting her own series MTV Live Stage, while also helping to cover massive events including the MTV European Music Awards backstage.
In addition, she has worked on several projects for ITV2, including The Hot Desk and LiveXLive's Rock In Rio, while her music knowledge has seen her present on Apple Music's Beats 1 and launch her own music platform DEADLY in 2016.
"We're really excited that Becca is joining us as the online face of The X Factor," Karen Troop, X Factor Digital's executive producer, said of the casting. "Her experience in the music industry, from DJ-ing to presenting and interviewing some of the biggest popstars and artists, makes her the perfect addition to the team.
"Becca will be on hand to guide fans through all the behind-the-scenes fun and games as she gets to know this year's contestants. We can't wait to see her in action!"
