Nadine pulls plug on her upcoming concert dates

By Jackie Bell

Nadine Coyle has cancelled her upcoming tour dates.

The former Girls Aloud singer announced in February her plans to tour the UK and Ireland to perform the band's greatest hits, as well as her own new music.

This included a show at the Limelight in Belfast on May 20.

However, the Londonderry star issued a statement yesterday via promoter MCD's Facebook page confirming the tour had been cancelled.

It read: "I am so sad to say I'm not able to do the tour at this time. I am so sorry and really wish things were different but for many reasons it is not meant to be.

"You deserve the best show possible and with such big venues and very little dates it was becoming impossible to achieve what we had wanted to do. Everything is a lesson and this is definitely one for me.

"Thank you for your continued love and support."

Nadine returned to the music scene late last year with a new song Go To Work, which had over 1.1m streams on Spotify and reached No1 on their Viral Chart.
