Orlando Bloom has said he and his wife Miranda Kerr are not conventional parents because of their busy work schedules.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 36, described his family as "a bit of a travelling circus" in an interview with InStyle magazine, the Daily Mail reported.
"I won't spend more than two or three weeks away from him," the British actor said of his young son, while supermodel Miranda, "doesn't spend more than a week" away from two-year-old Flynn.
Orlando told the magazine: "She flies somewhere for work, I take care of Flynn. I go off to work, she takes care of Flynn. Or, you know, we're together, and we just make it work.
"We're not conventional in any way, shape or form."
The actor, currently performing in a Broadway revival of Romeo And Juliet, added: "Flynn is not in school yet, so we're still pretty loosey-goosey. We're a bit of a travelling circus."
