Paulson praises show creator Murphy
American Horror Story's Sarah Paulson has nothing but praise for the show's creator, Ryan Murphy.
Paulson, who appeared as medium Billie Dean Howard in season one of the show, is set to return as a different character when the show returns for a second season.
And the Martha Marcy May Marlene actress was keen to emphasise the anthology nature of the series, which will change location and storyline and feature different characters when it comes back.
She said: "It would be exciting to play a totally different character, I don't think that's ever happened before, has it? Am I speaking out of turn?
"I don't think they've ever done a show where they've had a group of actors who've come back the next year and played entirely different people and called it the same thing - leave it to Ryan Murphy!"
It was announced at PaleyFest in Los Angeles that Paulson and her co-stars Evan Peters and Lily Rabe will all appear in season two, while Zachary Quinto and Jessica Lange, who won a Golden Globe for her role as Constance Langdon in the first season, had already been confirmed to return.
