Pippa Middleton's wedding: Everything you need to know

By Jackie Bell

Pippa Middleton (33) is set to wed her partner James Matthews (40) this weekend in what is expected to be the biggest society wedding since... well, since her big sister Kate's - so here's everything you need to know.

When will the wedding take place?

Pippa Middleton and her hedge fund manager fiancé James Matthews will tie the knot on Saturday, May 20.

The pair have been together since 2012, with James popping the question in July 2016.

Where will they get married?

The wedding ceremony will take place at Pippa's local church, St Mark's, in Englefield, Berkshire.

The 12th Century building is located just six miles away from the Middleton family home in Bucklebury.

How many guests are invited?

Reports have suggested around 150 guests will attend on Saturday.

Will Prince George and Princess Charlotte be involved?

Of course. Prince George will take on the role of page boy, while Princess Charlotte will be acting as bridesmaid/flower girl.

Although some reports claim that  the Duchess of Cambridge is a little worried about how the children will behave on the day.

Will Kate be the maid of honour?

While this hasn't been officially confirmed, it is expected that Kate will be maid of honour for Pippa, if only to get her own back for Pippa stealing her thunder in that dress on her wedding day.

Which is completely fair enough, if you ask us.

Who is the best man?

That would be James' brother Spencer.

Isn't that the fella from Made In Chelsea who always cheats on his girlfriends?

The very one! We suspect Spencer will be on his best behaviour though, what with royalty being present.

Although we can't help but wish the wedding would be aired MIC style on TV, complete with awkward pauses and side-eyed glances.

Will Prince Harry be attending?

When has Prince Harry ever missed a good party? Although it remains to be seen if he will be attending with his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle in tow.

Where is the wedding reception being held?

The after-do will take place at Pippa's parent's £6 million home, which is located nearby.

Kate had hers at Buckingham Palace. It's not a competition ladies...

What do we know about the dress?

Obviously it's all very hush, hush - but a few designer names such as Amanda Wakeley and Jenny Packman have been thrown about.

Either way, Pippa will no doubt look stunning.
