Poldark's Eleanor Tomlinson thrilled with new folk album

By Joe Nerssessian

Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson is to release a debut album of folk-influenced covers.

She has covered the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and Carole King on Tales From Home as well as a number of traditional Irish and Scottish folk songs.

The record is produced by the woman behind Poldark's soundtrack, Oscar-winning composer Anne Dudley.

Tomlinson said: "To have the opportunity to perform some of my favourite songs with Anne Dudley's brilliant new arrangements has been wonderful, not to mention working alongside my brother Ross.

"I'm incredibly excited to announce the release of my debut album Tales From Home."
