Pregnant Ferne McCann considering leaving Essex - report

Ferne McCann is said to be considering moving to the West Country.

Pregnant Ferne McCann is reportedly thinking about leaving Essex to get a "fresh start".

The 26-year-old reality star has been left devastated by the news that her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins has been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) and one of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to cause GBH following an acid attack at east London nightspot Mangle in the early hours of Easter Monday (17Apr17).

Following Collins' arrest, it was claimed that Ferne was expecting his baby, and told him about her pregnancy just hours before the attack.

After Ferne confirmed her pregnancy via her representative on Monday (24Apr17), it has now been claimed that the former star of The Only Way Is Essex is considering leaving her home county once and for all.

According to The Sun newspaper, Ferne is thinking about relocating to the West Country, as she has friends in Bristol, with whom she is currently staying.

"She’s seriously considering moving away for a fresh start for the sake of her child," a source told the publication. “It’s been a hell of an ordeal for her and she really needs some space to clear her head and decide what’s for the best.

“She just needs some calm and at the moment everything in Essex would make her think of what happened. Everyone knows her and Arthur and they’re all talking about what has gone on. A couple of people have been suggesting a bit of a clean break could be the best thing and she’s taking the advice on board."

Collins appeared at Thames Magistrates Court on Monday and spoke only to confirm his name and address. He was also on crutches, after reportedly being tasered by police when he attempted to escape arrest by climbing out of a window.

He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Wood Green Crown Court on 22 May (17).
