Prince Harry's the best man for childhood pal

By Isabel Togoh

The Duke of Sussex has assumed wedding duties once again - this time attending the nuptials of his childhood friend as best man.

Prince Harry, star of his own wedding spectacular just weeks ago, stayed low-key on Saturday as he accompanied Charlie van Straubenzee into St Mary the Virgin Church in Frensham, Surrey.

The Duchess of Sussex, who was also celebrating her 37th birthday, attended separately. She wore a navy fit-and-flare dress and matching hat.

Mr van Straubenzee, who works for investment management firm Brown Advisory, is marrying wedding videographer Daisy Jenks.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles donned a kilt for speaking at Canisbay Church in Caithness, the most northerly parish church in mainland Scotland yesterday. Known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, Charles also attended the Mey Highland and Cultural Games on Saturday.
