Pudi influenced by British humour

Community's Danny Pudi has revealed he thinks the US show has an affinity with quirky British comedies.

Danny, who plays Abed Nadir on the show, said he took inspiration from series such as Spaced.

"I think a lot of our show's humour is very influenced by British humour," he explained.

"For me, specifically, and I think a couple of other people in this show, shows like Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, shows like Spaced, sort of fit into this world, and I think our show sort of fits into their world."

"It's quirky, the humour is subtle, very specific, and we go to some very zany places."

:: Season two of Community starts on Sony Entertainment Television on April 10.
