Ray J in talks for Celebrity Big Brother - report

Show bosses are said to be hoping Ray J will reveal all about his X-rated relationship with reality star Kim.

Kim Kardashian's sex tape partner Ray J is reportedly in talks to star in Celebrity Big Brother.

The newly-married singer and U.S. TV personality, who exchanged vows with Princess Love in August (16), is in top secret talks to join other famous faces on the 2017 season of the show, according to The Sun newspaper.

Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., has his fair share of celebrity connections, being R&B singer and actress Brandy's brother and Snoop Dogg's cousin, but show bosses are said to be hoping he will reveal all about his X-rated relationship with reality star Kim.

"Bosses are over the moon with how the negotiations are going," a source told the publication. "Kim is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and they were never going to get her but booking Ray J means they’ll get someone with proper insight into what goes on behind closed doors.

“He was right by her side as she shot to fame because of their sex tape so they are hoping he will talk openly about their relationship and reveal lots of new things about her while in the house.”

It's not the first time Celebrity Big Brother bosses have attempted to capitalise on Kim's fame by signing up one of her acquaintances for the show. Jonathan Cheban, a PR guru and close friend of the Kardashians, appeared on the series earlier this year (16) but quit after just a week, complaining the house made him feel "edgy and claustrophobic".

After leaving, Jonathan told the Daily Mail Online that Kim had been keeping a close eye on what he was doing and saying inside the house.

"Kim's been completely supportive. She actually wrote to me when I got out of the house before I even had a chance to write to her," he said. "So, she's been watching everything, somewhere, somehow. And she actually knew I was out of the house before I ever told my mum actually.

"It was great to get that right as I got out into the car out of the house."

The new series of Celebrity Big Brother starts on Channel 5 in January (17).
