Reality TV baby boom: Stephanie Davis welcomes son, Binky Felstead announces pregnancy

Stephanie Davis gave birth to a baby boy while Made In Chelsea's Binky Felstead announced she is expecting her first child with JP Paterson.

The reality television world got a little bigger over the weekend, after Stephanie Davis welcomed her son and Binky Felstead announced her pregnancy.

Former Hollyoaks actress turned Celebrity Big Brother housemate Stephanie gave birth to a baby boy on Friday (13Jan17), after a gruelling 48-hour labour.

Stephanie has always maintained that her former CBB beau Jeremy McConnell is the father, but the Irish model is said to be keen for a paternity test.

News of the arrival was confirmed by a representative for Stephanie, who told OK! magazine in a statement on Friday: "We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy in Liverpool. Mother & baby are doing fine."

Shortly afterwards, Stephanie shared a snap of her hand intertwined with her son's, writing alongside the picture: "The day my world became complete.

"Ive been overwhelmed & so in love with you. Words could never describe. Thank you for all your support!"

Stephanie's son isn't the only new addition to the world of reality television, however, after Made In Chelsea star Binky announced that she's expecting her first child.

The 26-year-old brunette beauty and Josh 'JP' Paterson have been in an on-off relationship for years, with Binky admitting the pregnancy news came as a "huge shock" to them both.

"This is a new start and a new chapter in our lives. I want to be a little family, to be honest," she told Britain's Hello magazine. "But I'm going to be ok either way. Whatever happens, this baby is not going to be affected. And I know Josh will be part of the baby’s life whether we are together or not. We are a unit now."

JP added that just because the pair are having a baby together, it doesn't mean that they will automatically get back together.

"Where we're both being very mature is with the fact that you should never get back together just because there's a baby in the picture," he said. "It has to be for the right reasons. We love each other a great deal, and there's no pressure – but you do have to take the past into consideration, where there have been a few hiccups. We're just taking it very easy."
