The Good Morning Britain presenter, who finished second in the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing, led Yahoo's Year in Review 2014 rankings, gleaned from billions of online searches on the website over the course of the year.
Her popularity on the internet comes on the back of her stint on Strictly, where the 43-year-old mother-of-three - who has separated from husband Dominic Cotton - was partnered with Kevin Clifton.
Hunger Games star Jennifer took second place in the list, followed by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and Katie Price in third and fourth spots respectively.
Former Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who married Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in July, came fifth, with Kelly Brook - who has had an on-off relationship with David McIntosh this year - in sixth place.
Holly Willoughby, Beyonce and Jay Z, One Direction and Miley Cyrus round out the top ten celebrity searches.
The chart-topping British boyband and the Bangerz singer have both slid down the rankings from last year, where they finished first and second respectively.
