Robert Webb 'enjoying' feeling old

Robert Webb has admitted playing a university professor in hit sitcom Fresh Meat makes him feel old.

The 39-year-old father-of-two, who leapt to fame playing hapless musician Jez in Channel 4's Peep Show, has found working with the young cast of the student comedy "a real pleasure".

Robert - who plays geeky geology lecturer Dan - said: "I definitely felt a bit older working with the young cast of Fresh Meat.

"I'm glad to say this is the first time it's happened, but I've now been on set and been pretty much the oldest one there. I can't help be aware that some of the principle actors were at school when Peep Show started. It's a bit odd!

"But in a way, being the grand old daddy of Fresh Meat is kind of enjoyable. I don't go around pretending I'm 25 any more so I quite like it really."

Robert has also landed the role as the narrator in Tales Of Friendship With Winnie The Pooh, which is set to air on Disney Juniors UK later this year.
