Rory McIlroy and fiancée Erica Stoll have been snapped at charity event in Belfast - with Ms Stoll sporting a sizeable sparkler on her engagement finger.
The ring confirms the news that the former world number one golfer is engaged again.
The couple were attending the Paddy Wallace Fund for Autism's first official Christmas ball at Titanic Belfast on Thursday evening.
The star-studded event featured well-known guests included, Michael O'Neill, Tommy Bowe, Stephen Ferris, Iain Henderson, Darren Cave, Stuart Olding, Les Kiss, Mickey Harte, and Ian Paisley JR.
The fund has been set up by former Ireland and Ulster rugby star Paddy Wallace and his wife Tina.
It aims to raise awareness of autism and support of families and children awaiting diagnosis or who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
Sports and showbiz pals rushed to congratulate the golfer after he revealed that the rumours about his long-awaited engagement to Erica were true.
Earlier this month a source close to Rory McIlroy said that he had got down on a bended knee during a trip to Paris and popped the question to Ms Stoll (27).
The Holywood native – worth more than €400m- posted a picture of the Eiffel Tower, with speculation that the famous landmark formed the venue for the unexpected proposal.
The world number three golfer has made no secret of the fact that he’s head over heels about the Florida native, whom he has been dating for nearly a year.
And he was obviously keen to seal the deal after presenting the PGA employee with a sizeable sparkler.
He was previously engaged to Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki but he called it quits a few months before their New York wedding after getting cold feet.
McIlroy then vowed to concentrate on his golfing instead of his romantic life and went on to win a string of major championship titles.
He was first spotted with Stoll nearly a year ago, with the pair ringing in New Year in style at Ashford Castle last year.
Since then, she has become a regular sight on the sidelines of the course as she shows her support for her other half.
Just last month, a grinning Rory posed for pics beside his striking other half after he won the Race to Dubai and DP World Tour Championship.
He has also said how he is “very happy” with his year-long romance.
“She is from America which is why I like to spend time in Spring Beach. She doesn't play golf but she is involved," he said.
“I am very happy in my love life," he said. “If everything off the golf course is good, it allows you to be better on it as well."
The couple have spent some time in Dublin, while she has also been pictured in his native Co Down and Belfast.
Friends say Erica is keeping Rory grounded and in a good place while off the course.
