Rowland: I've got the fun factor

Kelly Rowland has confessed she feared The X Factor audience wouldn't find her entertaining.

The former Destiny's Child singer had doubts before she signed on to the judging panel alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh and worried about her likeability factor.

"I didn't think I had any British humour. Now I get people coming up to me saying, 'Put it down' in British accents. I love it," she told the Daily Star.

Kelly, who has released her third solo album Here I Am, made a surprise appearance at London's Brixton Academy with her X Factor semi-finalist protegees Misha B and Amelia Lily as part of a BBC Radio 1Xtra concert.

"Perseverance and passion is what will make you in this industry. Destiny's Child, Usher and *NSync all came up together and we had to put the hours in," she said.
