Royal Ascot 2015: Ladies' Day in pictures

By Staff Reporter

Not all eyes will be on Forgotten Rules today as the unbeaten favourite bids for another Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.

It's Ladies' Day, and that means the fashion stakes will be high for the punters.

Yesterday the Queen impressed the crowds in a blue ensemble by couturier Karl Ludwig and a hat by Angela Kelly. And the bookies were blue too - they faced a massive payout as it was the second day in a row that Her Majesty had worn the punters' favourite colour.

One racing fan who has been enjoying himself at the track is Belfast boxer Carl Frampton. The IBF World Super Bantamweight champion tweeted snaps from the stands of the action below, but was delighted to find out he might have a namesake on the course in the future.

He bumped into entrepreneur and horse breeder Michael Morris. The tech investor tweeted: "The best colt I buy in the autumn will be called Carl Frampton."
