Sarah Harding, Brandi Glanville and Shaun Williamson among new Celebrity Big Brother contestants
Sarah Harding wasted no time in referencing her Girls Aloud past as she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Tuesday night (01Aug17).
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother kicked off in spectacular style on Tuesday night (01Aug17), with Sarah Harding, Brandi Glanville and Shaun Williamson among the new contestants.
Emma Willis hosted the return of the reality series, with Girls Aloud star Sarah the first to enter the house. Wasting no time in referencing her popstar past, Sarah told the presenter that she was hoping not to be at the centre of confrontation in the show, as she had not liked that part of being in a band.
The blonde beauty looked stunning in a plunging black trouser suit as she made her big entrance, but she had some competition in the glamour stakes from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi.
The outspoken U.S. celebrity has made a name for herself across the pond through her TV work and rivalry with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his wife LeAnn Rimes, and is now hoping to do the same in the U.K. Other stars from Brandi's neck of the woods include Mob Wives star Marissa Jade, YouTube star Trisha Paytas and former The Bachelorette hopeful Chad Johnson, who caused controversy with his volatile appearance on the programme and spin-off Bachelor in Paradise.
EastEnders star Shaun told Emma he's hoping to move away from his image of "Barry from EastEnders" by showing a different side of himself in the house, while medium Derek Acorah, Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer and ex Gogglebox favourite Sandi Bogle are among some of the other contestants.
Former The Apprentice star Karthik Nagesan and Ex On the Beach stars Jordan Davies and Jemma Lucy have swapped one show for another with their Celebrity Big Brother appearances, while Paul Danan is hoping to replicate his success on the original Love Island show with his reality TV comeback in the house.
Amelia Lily, who came third on the 2011 series of The X Factor, which was won by Little Mix, and Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson complete this year's line-up.
