Scarlett Moffatt schools troll over her qualifications

Scarlett Moffatt wouldn't stand for someone calling her "brain dead".

Scarlett Moffatt has hit back at a Twitter troll who assumed she had done badly at school.

The former Gogglebox star took to Twitter on Thursday (24Aug17) to send an uplifting message of support to students receiving their GCSE results.

"To anybody worrying about their GCSE results today remember that Pitbull rhymed 'Kodak' with 'Kodak' and he is a millionaire #GCSE," she tweeted, referring to the American singer Pitbull's 2011 track Give Me Everything.

A user retweeted her message and suggested Scarlett hadn't done well in her exams but had still managed carve out a career by writing, "And remember Scarlett Moffat made money by watching tv on tv. Anyone can be successful no matter how brain dead."

Scarlett, 26, didn't let the criticism go and instead hit back by listing all her academic achievements for the user.

“I have 13 A*-C GCSEs, 3 A levels and a 2:1 bachelors degree mate. But if you work hard & be kind you can achieve anything," she wrote after sharing his message.

"Yet only made success from Beauty school cop outs and watching tv on tv. Good to see the grades you're bragging about did you well #humble?" the user responded, refusing to be silenced. "Scarlett you tell me about those 13 C's you have! #bore."

He also bragged how much activity his account was getting, by writing, "Twitter asked if I wanted to turn my notifications off I'm that popular!"

However, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner refused to get involved in a war of words and simply continued to support her young followers.

"Seriously lovelies if you don't get the grades you were expecting do not panic. Work hard & be kind & you can achieve all your dreams #gcse,” she enthused.
