Sharon: Ozzy wants sober Osbournes
Sharon Osbourne has explained she and her family have signed up for another series of their reality show after almost 10 years because Ozzy wanted to experience making it sober.
The Osbournes was a hit reality show on MTV for three years from 2002 to 2005, and Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy became a comedy figure, wandering around the house confused, shouting 'SHARON!'.
Now matriarch Sharon has told ITV's Loose Women that husband Ozzy is looking forward to being fully focussed on a new series.
She said: "Ozzy has decided that he wants to do another few episodes, not a whole season, about eight episodes of The Osbournes. He said for the whole three years that we did it he was drunk the whole time, so he said he would like to do one when he's completely sober as he is now, so we're like, 'Yes!'"
Talking about children Jack and Kelly being involved, she confirmed: "They'll come in and out, yes. Our lives have changed so much it's a kind of catch up, it's like, what they're doing now."
Sharon recently spoke about suffering from depression on a US talk show and said she had been surprised by the reaction to it.
She said: "I have been really amazed by the response that I got on it. I am also amazed that people think there is some kind of stigma about being on an antidepressant.
"You can have a bad leg, go to the doctor, a bad arm but when it's in your head, people go, 'Crazy, we knew she was nuts', and it's not that way at all. I personally know girlfriends of mine, women that struggle with depression every single day and it's a disability. Nobody has got it all together, happy shiny people, 'my life is perfect'.
"You know I've never been a big party-goer. I isolate, I don't want to come out and talk to anyone. It's literally covers over the head and no."
The former X Factor judge also met her goddaughter for the first time on Loose Women, baby Miley, who is Sharon's winning X Factor contestant Sam Bailey's youngest child.
