Simon Bird compared to Rick Moranis

Simon Bird has revealed he's never too happy to hear that he looks like Hollywood actor Rick Moranis.

The Inbetweeners star is often asked which famous person he could resemble, and admitted that many people make the comparison.

"Usually people say Rick Moranis from Honey I Shrunk The Kids. That's quite a depressing thing to hear," he told Radio Times.

Simon, who will be hitting the big screen in The Inbetweeners movie with co-stars James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison, said he could be tempted to appear in a reality TV series - if the price was right.

"Oh goodness, you never want to think that you can be bought in that way, but the fact of the matter is everyone has a price. Get me seven figures and then we'll talk, although I think I would steer clear of I'm a Celebrity... for a few years yet anyway," he continued.

"The shows I like are MasterChef and The Apprentice, both of which I would be absolutely awful on, so I don't think I would go on them, either. It would just be incredibly humiliating."

The actor, who turns 27 on August 19, would also prefer to steer clear of Top Gear and any horseracing shows.

"I'm not really into cars... or 1970s values. Also, I don't have much time for John McCririck and the horse racing. I don't understand why horse racing is still on TV in 2011. It's incredibly boring," he added.
