They have always been a class act - and yesterday two Snow Patrol stars were back at their old school.

Gary Lightbody and Jonny Quinn returned to their alma mater, Campbell College in Belfast, as guests for the college's 2019 speech day.

This year marks the East Belfast School's 125th anniversary and as Snow Patrol celebrate their 25th year it was a fitting tribute enjoyed by over 500 pupils, staff and parents.

Frontman Lightbody returned to speak with GCSE and A-level music students about his life in the industry.

He also performed a duet with student George Robinson.

The band are currently out of action as Johnny McDaid has a neck problem and Nathan Connolly is recovering from illness.
