Soul diva Brown leaves opera show

Jocelyn Brown has become the second celebrity to be voted off ITV1's Popstar To Operastar show.

Toploader's Joseph Washbourn survived after a "sing off" against Jocelyn when the public voted to keep Steps singer Claire Richards and Erasure's Andy Bell following their performances.

Soul diva Jocelyn followed Midge Ure out of the show. He was voted out on the first programme of the series last week.

Safe from the first week are Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz, X Factor winner Joe McElderry, and Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls.

The show revolves around the training of pop stars to be able to sing opera.
