Starr: I'd be open to Glee cameo
Ringo Starr isn't ruling out a guest appearance on Glee.
The Beatles drummer - who has seen Dream Weaver, his hit with Gary Wright, given the Glee treatment - said he would be open to making a cameo.
"Let's see what the script is about. I have no problem with any of those shows," he said at a press conference to launch his summer European tour with his All-Starr band.
Ringo, who played four tracks including A Little Help From My Friends, still feels it is an "honour and a privilege" to be performing at the age of 70.
"Being a human being, and having a love in my life and my children and the grandkids, that is all important. But to still be playing is great," he revealed.
"Artistically, it's that other band I was in. We made some great music and it's still holding up. That's a good achievement."
He also quipped about including his Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney in his current shows, saying: "I asked Paul to be in the All Starr Band but he says he's busy.
"I only promised him two numbers like everybody else, and he seems to be busy at that time. I used to ask George Harrison, but he said I'd have to give him all the money."
Ringo's 28 date tour starts in Kiev, Ukraine on June 4. It is his first UK tour since 1998.
