Stars of film, music and TV have stepped out on the red carpet for the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards
Among the A-listers spotted going into the Beverly Hilton Hotel were Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Michael Douglas said he was celebrating a "cancer-free" day on the red carpet.
The actor stepped out alongside wife Catherine Zeta Jones, and told E! News he was feeling much better. "As of last week the tumour has gone," he revealed "this type of cancer doesn't usually come back."
"I'm so happy to be [here], it's our first time out in months and months and to be able to have this day cancer-free is pretty special."
Natalie Portman admitted on the red carpet she's not entirely comfortable with the extreme attention that her film Black Swan and a baby bump has brought.
"It's a lot and I'm really bad at taking compliments," the actress, who's nominated for Best Actress, admitted on the red carpet chatting to E! News.
Wearing a flowing pink silk Victor and Rolph dress, the 29-year-old, who is expecting her first child with her fiance Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, revealed she hasn't picked out any baby names yet.
"I haven't done the book or anything, I'm open to suggestions," she admitted.
