Stewart: First music festival at 74
Sir Patrick Stewart has tweeted that he has been to his first music festival at the age of 74 - and rounded off the experience with a drunken snap from the pub.
The Star Trek actor was at the Outside Lands music and arts festival in San Francisco over the weekend and related his experiences to his followers on Twitter.
It started out well, with a retweet of a photo where he stood next to the Improv Shakespeare Company during the day.
But Patrick looked like he was struggling a little with the festival experience in the next instalment - a selfie of him looking fed up in a flat cap as he surveyed the crowd in front of the stage, captioned: "My first music festival. #outsidelands"
Finally, Patrick posted a tweet saying: "And my first music festival is over," above a photo of himself slumped in his seat in a darkened bar, eyes closed and with two empty red wine glasses in front of him.
Patrick was at the festival with his 36-year-old wife Sunny Ozell, who summed up her version of the weekend by tweeting: " Nothing like going to a big a** music festival for a whole weekend to be reminded you are decidedly NOT in your 20's anymore."
