Strictly gets a Siberian dancer
A new face will waltz into Strictly Come Dancing this year.
Pasha Kovalev, from Siberia, replaces Jared Murillo on the hit BBC One show.
Executive producer Moira Ross said: "I'm delighted to welcome back our Strictly professionals and really excited about introducing our new dancer, Pasha, to our audiences. We've some exciting treats in store for Series Nine."
The other dancers from last year, including reigning champion Artem Chigvintsev, who struck up a romance with partner Kara Tointon, are returning.
Pasha, 31, is a Latin dance specialist and has appeared in the US version of So You Think You Can Dance and in the Burn The Floor show in London's West End.
Jared partnered former Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien in last year's show. They were the fourth pair to be kicked out.
The show's co-host, Bruce Forsyth, who presents the series with Tess Daly, was knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours which were recently announced.
