Strictly viewers vote off Nancy

Italian businesswoman Nancy Dell'Olio has been criticised for the last time by the Strictly Come Dancing judges after she was voted off the show.

The property lawyer and former girlfriend of one-time England soccer manager Sven-Goran Eriksson had been clinging on to a place in the BBC1 dance contest despite maulings from the judges, but left the show after a rumba with her professional partner Anton Du Beke failed to impress.

They picked up the lowest score from the judges in Saturday's show, just 14 points out of a possible 40, and the viewers seemed to share the opinion of the experts.

In keeping with the Halloween theme of Saturday's show, Dell'Olio climbed out of a coffin before the pair danced to Spooky.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood told her: "The moment you stepped out of that sarcophagus was the moment it went horribly wrong."

Another judge, Len Goodman, said: "There were moments of Mills and Boon, and moments of meals on wheels."

When asked what she would miss about her Strictly experience, Dell'Olio said: "Let me think about it ... I will miss many moments, of course. It has been such a full on experience. I am going to go back to the rest of my life, but of course I'm going to miss a lot of it. I've had a lot of fun, it's been an incredible experience.

"It has given to me quite a lot, meeting incredible people, and learning dancing ... partly! I'm definitely going to keep dancing, because it is fantastic exercise, not only physically but for the mind, for everything, so I definitely will."

Du Beke added: "I tell you what I'm going to miss the most. I'm just going to miss Nancy."

The others in the bottom two in Sunday's results show were boxer Audley Harrison and Natalie Lowe.
