Taylor Swift gives fans a sneak peek of new song
Taylor Swift has surprised fans and given them a preview of the second single from her forthcoming album, Reputation.
Taylor Swift showcased more new music during a college football game on Saturday (02Sept17).
The 27-year-old singer, who is riding high in the charts with her number one single Look What You Made Me Do, has given fans another taster of what is to come on her forthcoming album Reputation, which is due for release in November (17).
The I Knew You Were Trouble singer delighted her legions of followers by giving them a sneak peek of her second single during a college football game between Alabama and Florida State over the weekend.
The one-minute track was played before kick off during the pre-show intro, which also featured clips of the Alabama and Florida State teams getting ready for the big game.
Reputation, Taylor’s sixth studio album, looks set to become a hit, judging by the success of revenge track Look What You Made Me Do. The song, which is full of thinly veiled digs at the singer’s enemies, including Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry, has already smashed streaming records around the globe and hit the number one slot in the U.K. on Friday after fans downloaded the track 30,000 times in its first week of release.
Although Taylor has topped Britain's album countdown with her last two releases, she has never had a song reach top of the singles chart.
The single has already set Spotify's global first-day record, with eight million streams on its day of release, and the song's lyric video shattered YouTube's record for the most-viewed lyric video in 24 hours, with more than 19 million views.
According to a statement from Vevo bosses, the video to the track has been watched 1.5 million times every hour.
