Voice judges in second show talks

Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and are all set to be re-signed for another series of The Voice, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror said that the four music stars are likely to be back on the hit BBC One TV show next year, which has been in a close battle with Britain's Got Talent in the ratings.

It quoted veteran crooner Sir Tom as saying: "The BBC has already asked me to come back for the next series and I've said 'yes' - we have already begun discussions."

Speaking at the South Bank Sky Arts awards, he added: "They are on-going but I would very much like to do it again. They're happy with the judges as we are, and it looks like all of us will be back, even Will."

His comments come after Britain's Got Talent edged ahead of The Voice in the ratings battle on Saturday.

The ITV1 show drew an average of 9.4 million viewers to The Voice's 9.3 million, according to overnight ratings.

But Tom insisted he isn't interested in a battle with Simon Cowell for viewers - he thinks the shows shouldn't clash so that people can enjoy both.

He said: "I'm not in competition with anybody, I'm just glad the public like what we do. Same as Simon you know, I think; good luck to us all. I don't think we'll fight over it.

"I'm glad that they changed the time though because if you go head-to-head with somebody the public are losing out. I think with talent shows, it's better not to have them on at the same time so then the people can enjoy them all."
