Watch: BBC newsreader's hilarious reaction to royal baby due date
On Tuesday Kensington Palace announced the royal baby would be born in April - and one BBC newsreader was less than enthused.
While presenting his programme Afternoon Live, Simon McCoy was given the 'breaking news' of when the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's should expect their third baby.
Speaking to the camera, he told viewers the latest update, before adding: "Now bearing in mind they announced that she was pregnant back in September it was thought she was around two or three months pregnant.
"I'm not sure how much news this really is, but anyway it's April."
He then joked: "So clear your diaries, get the time booked off, because that's what I'm doing."
He later tweeted: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April. #News"
