Watson: Actors don't like celeb tag
Emma Watson has hit out at extravagant celebrity lifestyles - saying she's only got eight pairs of shoes.
The ex-Harry Potter actress plays a teenager who breaks into the homes of celebrities and steals their clothes and jewellery in new film The Bling Ring.
Emma, who filmed part of the movie in Paris Hilton's home, told the Radio Times: "I've only got about eight pairs of shoes...
"It's almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania.
"She (Paris) could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on.
"But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We've all bought things on impulse but that's an entirely different thing."
She also told the magazine: "There's a whole new definition to celebrity now.
"And I think that's why you see a lot of actors blanching at being associated with that word 'celebrity' because it's become something that isn't really associated with having a craft...
"But it's easy for me to sound like a total hypocrite because, of course, I'm dressed in designer clothes right now."
