1. The Irish Open 2017 at Portstewart Golf Club - July 4-9

Host Rory McIlroy will defend his title against Cabrera Bello, Hideki Matsuyama, John Rahm and Justin Rose at Portstewart Golf Club, while stars including Jamie Dornan, James Nesbitt and Shane Filan are set to take part in the Pro-Am event on Wedsnesday.

2. Irish Open 2017 Fringe Festival, Portstewart - July 5-9

Portstewart Strand.

The Crescent area in Portstewart will be transformed into a live music venue and outdoor cinema, creating a unique tournament atmosphere in the host town with fireworks and children’s entertainment.

Meanwhile, Midsummer Sessions - a spin-off from the popular Atlantic Sessions - will see over 30 musicians playing free gigs in bars, hotels, coffee shops and restaurants.
