Widdecombe backs Strictly's du Beke
Ann Widdecombe wants her old dance partner Anton du Beke to come out on top in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The former MP, whose performances last year made her a cult hit with viewers, said she wished she "could have another go" on the show.
She revealed: "I won't be watching every week but I will be voting for Anton every week."
Ann said her only advice to this year's contestants was "to have fun".
She added: "I don't think there is any practical advice that anyone would want to take from me, mine was the pantomime act."
Anton, who has been partnered with Nancy Dell'Olio this year, said training has "started off gently" and joked his glamorous new partner was not so different from Ann.
He said: "They are almost the same. I mean Nancy and Ann they are like peas in a pod and I can't tell them apart, I make them wear badges."
Other celebrities in this series include Holly Valance, The One Show's Alex Jones and former footballer Robbie Savage.
Half the couples will take to the floor on Friday September 30 with the remaining seven dancing on Saturday October 1 when they have to dance either a waltz or the cha-cha-cha.
